How long does getting a manicure take?

I've never gotten one before, and I now I need to see how much time I'll have to get ready for a party. I've always thought French manicures were pretty, so I'd prefer to get one of those, but I don't need to.How long does getting a manicure take?
Mine always take about 30 minutes from start to finish. French manicures can take a little longer - 45 minutes depending on the technician. There may be a wait at the shop, so leave room for waiting for a nail techician. It will take abt 15 mins to dry the nails. All in all, I always allow at least an 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour for the whole process. Another tip - make sure your nails are dried before leaving the salon. How long does getting a manicure take?
35 to45 minutes
i go to a place at the westside pavilion and it take about 5-8 minutes i guess mabye even 10. its a good place and is really fast compared to wat the other people said about 30 minutes. well i actually dont know mabye even 15 minutes
About 1/2 hour.
I am a licensed Cosmetologist/Manicurist. And if the are doing it right, it should take about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. If they are doing a full spa manicure with the french polish.

If you are getting a ';mini'; that can be about 1/2 hour to 45 min. but, you won't get all the massaging and everything that you get with the spa manicure.

By the way, the longer manicure feels great and makes your nails and fingers and hands look alot better too than a mini.

Have fun and good luck!!!
It depends on the manicurist and how fast she works. A good one should take from 30 minuttes to an hour. Allow more time, though, in case she is running late with her previous patron.
about 30 minutes
A good manicure should take 30-45 minutes. It all depends on how much work you cuticles need.
